Supporting Our Ministry

The sustainability behind

In 2022, EFM purchased a prime piece of property on the town square in downtown San Luis, believing that building a business plaza there will help us reach our goal of self-sustainability. Over the next 10 years, rental income will generate money for the mission’s ministries, ensuring their growth and future.

Donations for this project are also accepted. Under “Honduras Self-Sustainment Project”.

Our Projects

  • Agriculture

Agriculture is the driving passion behind our organization’s success, with all of our products grown locally in San Luis, Honduras. This includes coffee, bananas, allspice, and our mahogany project. Both coffee and allspice are carefully hand-picked, ensuring the highest quality. Every product is proudly sold within the local community, supporting sustainability and fostering a deep connection between the land and the people.

  • Water Plant

For years, unsafe local water in San Luis caused widespread illness, affecting both our clinic patients and the broader community. In 2013, we took action by drilling a well, but after 3 to 4 years, the water was still unusable.

Recognizing the urgent need for clean water not just for the clinic and mission, but for the entire community, we expanded our efforts. Today, we operate a sustainable water purification initiative, delivering nearly 30,000 gallons of safe water each month. This service not only addresses a critical health need but also supports the well-being of the entire community, ensuring access to clean water for all.

  • Brothers Pizza!

Our pizza shop offers both nourishment and valuable employment opportunities for our community. Beyond serving great food, it generates essential revenue that supports our ministry’s ongoing initiatives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the shop became even more vital, helping support three families with stable employment. Thanks to a strong focus on takeout services, the business remained prosperous throughout the pandemic, providing much-needed relief during a challenging time.
